Speaker: Dr. Kevin Peil

Dr. Kevin Peil

Dr. Kevin Peil holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and has been employed as a research scientist for the Dow Chemical Company for the last 29 years. He has spoken throughout the WELS at churches, schools (high schools and LES) as well as Pastor and Teacher Conferences on a wide variety of topics as they relate to Science and the Bible. He and his wife Laurie are members of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bay City, MI.

“The world around us provides a powerful testimony to God the Creator. As a scientist I have seen so much in my every day research that gives glory to God.”

I have heard Dr. Peil present several times and each time I come away with new information that prepares me to talk knowledgeably about the scientific claims of others. It's great to discuss sound scientific evidence from a Christian perspective with other men!”

"Dr. Peil combines science and faith into all of his presentations. Highly recommended!"

Camp Chaplain: Prof. Samuel Degner

Pr. Degner is a Professor of Evangelism & New Testament at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI. He has written a chapter on Evolution in the newly published book, “Quick to Listen”, available from Northwestern Publishing House.

While all are welcome, this retreat is designed for the adult men of WELS/ELS churches. Fathers are encouraged to bring their sons 16 years or older.
